Meeting of Taliban’s Deputy Prime Minister’s Political Deputy with Iran’s Minister of Interior

Abdul Kabir, the Political Deputy of Taliban’s Deputy Prime Minister, met with Ahmad Vahidi, Iran’s Minister of Interior in Tehran today to discuss cooperation on Afghan migrants in Iran, drug trafficking, and border management.

According to a press release, Mr. Abdul Kabir stated that drug cultivation and trafficking have decreased to zero, which is not only beneficial for Afghans but also for the entire region and the world.

He attended the inauguration ceremony of Iran’s president in the Islamic Consultative Assembly today.

Mr. Abdul Kabir mentioned in a meeting with some Afghan traders last night that establishing good interactions and relations with neighbors has led to the expansion of trade exchanges.
