A meeting between the Minister of Intelligence and the Article 90 Commission discussed the protests and the increase in the dollar’s price.
Nasrollah Pejmanfar, the head of the Article 90 Commission of the Islamic Consultative Assembly, announced a meeting of this commission with Iran’s Minister of Intelligence.
According to Article 90 of the Constitution, the Article 90 Commission is obliged to address citizens’ complaints about the functioning of the Parliament, the executive branch, or the judiciary.
Nasrollah Pejmanfar stated that this meeting was held on various topics, especially the recent events in the country and issues related to currency disruptions.
He mentioned that the enemy has managed to gain influence over the thoughts of some people in society, and now the government intends to take charge of media management and the management of narratives.
The current parliament recorded the lowest voter turnout in the history of parliamentary elections in the Islamic Republic.
