Mehdi Chamran called the protesters deceived by those beyond the borders
Mehdi Chamran, the head of Tehran City Council, at the beginning of yesterday’s city council meeting in response to the recent public protests, stated that the enemies could not witness these successes and planned actions that led to street riots in various cities, including Zahedan. Unfortunately, in the Zahedan incident, the deputy intelligence officer of the city’s Revolutionary Guards and the noble praying citizens and shopkeepers were martyred, to whom we offer our condolences.
In any case, I will not recount or analyze what has happened, but movements have started from beyond the borders, and deceived individuals entered the scene. However, with the massive presence of people in counteracting the riots, once again, the wishful thinking and naive assumptions of the enemies, who have been beating the drum of ominous propaganda for over 40 years, have led nowhere and will lead nowhere, because the people will not allow their great and unparalleled revolution to be destroyed by the violent and ISIS-like planning of a few.
Of course, we warn ourselves and the cultural officials of the country that they should not easily overlook the youth and abandon them so that they do not fall into the trap of deception. They should be helped culturally.
