Member of the Parliament’s Energy Commission: We have no choice but to import gasoline

Hadi Beigi Nejad, a member of the Parliament’s Energy Commission, said the reality is that the issue of gasoline imports has raised concerns because consumption has approached production levels. In fact, according to the Deputy Minister of Oil, the country’s gasoline production over the past two weeks has been about 112 million liters, while consumption has been about 102 million liters. Since this gap has become very small, if we continue on this path, consumption will surpass production, and then we will have no choice but to import gasoline.
