Members of a fake educational documents gang were arrested by the prosecutor of Kerman.

Mehdi Bakhshi, the prosecutor of Kerman, has announced the arrest of the operatives of a professional gang who had forged about 800 documents in this province.

According to IRNA, a while ago, during the merger of 2 private banks and a reevaluation of the documents and work histories of employees, one of the staff members was confronted with a forged document, leading to the identification of a completely professional network that had forged educational documents ranging from high school diploma, advanced diploma, bachelor’s, master’s, and higher degrees.

He stated that this professional gang operated only in the Kerman area, and upon the order of the Public and Revolutionary Prosecutor’s Office of Kerman, the main operatives and accomplices in the crime of forging documents were arrested and other suspects were also summoned.

According to him, during the inspection of the suspects’ homes, a large number of educational documents, university stamps, and seals of related institutions were discovered and confiscated.
