Messi’s jerseys sold for 73 million euros

The jerseys that Messi wore in two of the three group stage matches, the round of 16, quarter-finals, semi-finals, and the first half of the final have been auctioned. Messi now plays for Inter Miami in the USA.
Six Argentina national team jerseys that Lionel Messi wore in the 2022 World Cup were sold for 73 million euros. These jerseys, offered by a startup company, reportedly sold for 78 million dollars as announced on Thursday.
This has been the highest price ever for the sale of a Messi sports memorabilia. The auction company did not disclose who the buyer of these jerseys was, but part of the proceeds from this auction will be used for charitable purposes.
