Microsoft Iran is behind the hackers’ attack on the Charlie Hebdo website.
According to the report of Microsoft security researchers, on Friday, a hacker team supported by the Iranian government stole and exposed customer information of the satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo.
This magazine was targeted by a hacker attack in early January after publishing cartoons of Ali Khamenei, the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic. According to Charlie Hebdo, the publication of these cartoons was part of the magazine’s media campaign in support of anti-government protests in Iran.
