Mojarani: Lifting of filtering is on the government’s agenda
Fatemeh Mohajerani, the government spokesperson, emphasized that lifting the filtering is on the government’s agenda. She stated that the President is the head of the Supreme Council of Cyberspace and can act on this issue by decree. However, the fourteenth government is called the government of consensus, so we are seeking agreement to solve problems to avoid any conflicts.
Since Masoud Pezeshkian took office as President last year, he and his cabinet members have repeatedly promised to lift the filtering, a promise that has not yet been fulfilled.
