The Minister of Communications has requested the unblocking of Google Play

Isa Zarepour, the Minister of Communications and Information Technology, announced on the sidelines of the cabinet meeting that the ministry has proposed to unblock Google Play. He mentioned that there are 12 members under the cybercrime law who need to make a decision on this matter. We have requested the unblocking of Google Play; our opinion is in favor of reopening it, though some colleagues have different views.

He emphasized that we have proposed the unblocking of Google Play and have done our part. The Minister of Communications and Information Technology had previously announced that the unblocking of Google Play was on the agenda of the committee responsible for determining criminal content.
