Minister of Culture: I was under security pressures
The Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance, who had previously asked artists to resume their artistic activities, has stated that he made this request under pressure from security agencies.
Mohammad Mehdi Esmaeili said security agencies, including the National Security Council and the Supreme National Security Council, constantly follow up with us to ensure that artistic activities are held normally, and we have no problem with that.
However, we have encountered disruptions in the audience section where the presence of spectators is needed.
