The Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemns the resolution of the Council of Governors against Iran.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic strongly condemned the resolution issued by the Board of Governors of the International Atomic Energy Agency against Iran in statements yesterday.
Iran’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs has considered this resolution as a political and unconstructive move, viewing it as a continuation of the failed policies of some Western countries and an attempt to politically exploit international mechanisms against independent nations.
Yesterday, in the third day of its regular session, the Board of Governors of the International Atomic Energy Agency voted positively on the proposed resolution by Britain, France, and Germany regarding Iran’s nuclear dossier.
Meanwhile, Tehran has declared that the issuance of this resolution will not affect the will of the Islamic Republic of Iran to continue peaceful use of nuclear energy and operational development projects in line with its rights under relevant international treaties.
