Mir Hossein Mousavi and Zahra Rahnavard: We will not participate in the elections and we will not vote.

Zahra Mousavi Khamenei, the daughter of Mir Hossein Mousavi and Zahra Rahnavard, announced on Friday, April 28, through an Instagram story that officials had asked her parents about sending a ballot box to their place of house arrest, and they responded by saying they will not participate in the elections and will not vote.

Mir Hossein Mousavi, the 2009 presidential candidate, and his wife Zahra Rahnavard, leaders of the Green Movement, have been under house arrest for more than 13 years following their protest against the election results of that year.
