Mohammad Ali Abtahi's filtering in cyberspace is an example of poking people in the eye

Mohammad Ali Abtahi believes that filtering in the virtual space is a form of turning a blind eye to people’s concerns.

During the Reformist government, the President’s office faced various crises in the country, such as the events and protests of 2022. Again, no one paid attention, and not only did they ignore, but they also imposed strict measures in many cases, which seemed to be ignoring the people’s concerns. One prominent example was the filtering of the virtual space.

Mohammad Ali Abtahi further stated that the hardliners who have entered the new parliament are pure fundamentalists, but in my opinion, these hardliners cannot have much of a role in governance. They have come under immense pressure from society, and if they try to exert new pressure, it will not be acceptable.
