Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf determined that the Central Bank found the imbalances of Bank Ayandeh irreparable.
The Speaker of the Iranian Parliament said, I would like to address one of the country’s important economic issues that is directly related to financial stability and the public’s trust in the banking system: the entry of Bank Ayandeh into the resolution process, which in other words, entails the dissolution of this bank.
This decision, made by the Central Bank’s High Supervisory Board, is part of a comprehensive plan to reform the banking system, aiming to organize unhealthy banks and restore financial discipline to the country’s banking network.
In his pre-agenda speech, Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf stated that the Central Bank, considering the imbalances of Bank Ayandeh that were seriously harming the country’s economy, deemed it irreparable and decided to enter it into the resolution process. The heads of the branches of power also, with precise expert analysis, took the necessary measures and granted sufficient authority to the responsible officials to ensure this process is carried out in complete calm, so that neither the people suffer losses nor the public funds are harmed.
