Mohammad Haji Rasoulpour died as a result of torture

The Hengaw Human Rights Organization reported on Monday, December 19, 2022, that Mohammad Haji Rasoulpour, a protester from Bukan, had died.

This Bukan citizen, who had fallen into a coma due to torture and was hospitalized at Ghalipour Hospital in the city, died on the evening of Sunday, December 18, from the severity of the injuries inflicted by the torture.

Hengaw has confirmed that Mohammad Haji Rasoulpour had a history of political activity and conviction.

This citizen from Bukan was first arrested by government forces on Saturday, October 1, after the start of nationwide protests, and was released on bail on October 17 after sixteen days.
