Mohammad Sarwar, a suspected Lebanese involved in transferring money between Iran and Hamas, was killed in Beirut.

A Lebanese security source announced that a Lebanese man accused of being involved in transferring money from Iran to Hamas was killed near Beirut.

This security source, whose name was not mentioned, told the French news agency on Wednesday, April 11, that the body of this man, named Mohammad Sarwar, was found on Tuesday in a villa in Beit Meri, a city overlooking Beirut, and had been shot at least five times. He added that the perpetrators of this murder did not touch the money that was near him.

The Lebanese National News Agency also reported on Tuesday evening that the body of a 57-year-old man was found in the vicinity of this location. The agency did not release the full name of the deceased, but the initials match the name Mohammad Ibrahim Sarwar.
