Mohsen Abdollahi: Issuing documents for the mainland is meaningless

Mohsen Abdollahi, an international law professor, wrote on his Twitter page in response to yesterday’s remarks by the Judiciary spokesperson regarding the issuance of documents for the three islands in the name of Iran by the National Organization for Registration of Deeds and Properties. He stated that while issuing documents for the mainland is meaningless, issuing documents for all Iranian islands that are not connected to the mainland is essential. These documents are crucial in the long term to demonstrate effective possession and Iran’s ownership of its islands.
