Molavi Abdulhamid's court hearing on Bloody Friday has begun

Molavi Abdulhamid’s trial regarding the Bloody Friday has begun.

Molavi Abdulhamid, the Sunni Friday prayer leader in Zahedan, has reported the start of the trial related to the Bloody Friday in Zahedan.

Abdulhamid Ismailzehi tweeted that the trial of the Zahedan Bloody Friday massacre finally took place after a long wait, summoning only a few members of the law enforcement forces.

He further criticized the conduct of this trial, stating that the masterminds of this crime and the Basij and Sepah forces were never called to account.

The Bloody Friday in Zahedan is said to have occurred on the 8th of Mehr, 1401, where after the Friday prayers in this city, a group of worshippers gathered in front of a police station to protest and were met with direct fire from the authorities.

Recently, the UN Truth-Finding Committee reported that 104 people were killed on that day.
