Sergei Shoigu, Secretary of the Russian Security Council, said in a meeting with Ali Akbar Ahmadian, Secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council, that Moscow is finalizing preparations for signing the agreement with Iran.
The senior Russian official, referring to the document of the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership Treaty between Iran and Russia, continued, ‘We are awaiting the signing of the new intergovernmental contract. We are completing the internal processes necessary to prepare the documents for the signing by the Presidents of Russia and Iran.’
