Mehdi Motaharnia wrote in the Etemad newspaper that following Iran’s response to Israel’s attack on the Iranian consulate in Damascus, the question of what direction the region’s developments will take and whether Israel will engage in new adventures has been raised in public opinion.
The likelihood of Israel engaging in new adventures in the region is possible, but the dimensions of this potential action will not be very clear. This process can manifest in a combined and hybrid action. Therefore, based on this logic, it can be said that the region is currently in a precarious situation, with its counter-event displayed on October 7 and its final act on April 14.
