Muqtada al-Sadr refused to meet Ismail Qaani

The Wall Street Journal, quoting the director of Muqtada al-Sadr’s office in Baghdad, wrote that Muqtada al-Sadr has refused to meet with Ismail Qaani, the commander of the Quds Force of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps. The Quds Force commander had previously traveled to Iraq in August to resolve Shia disputes, and news agencies had described this trip as unsuccessful.
