The murder suspect in Utah, Tyler Robinson, was reported by his family after confessing to his father.

22-year-old Tyler Robinson has been identified as the suspect in the murder of Charlie Kirk.

Two sources told CBS, a BBC partner, that Mr. Robinson lived in southern Utah and confessed to his father.

During an FBI press conference, Utah Governor Spencer Cox told the media that a member of Tyler Robinson’s family approached a family friend, who then contacted a sheriff after learning of Tyler Robinson’s confession.

The Governor of Utah also thanked Tyler Robinson’s family and said they did the right thing.

Mr. Cox also confirmed that messages reading ‘Take this, fascist’, ‘Bella Ciao, Bella Ciao’, and ‘If you’re reading this, you’re gay’ were inscribed on the unfired bullets.

Donald Trump says the suspect in Charlie Kirk’s murder is in police custody.

Donald Trump, in an interview with Fox News, said the suspect was turned over to authorities by someone close to him.

He also expressed hope that the suspect would receive the death penalty in court.

Charlie Kirk was shot and killed while giving a speech at Utah Valley University on Wednesday.
