Narges Mohammadi to Stand Trial Again in New Cases

Narges Mohammadi is once again facing trial in new cases.

Mustafa Nili, Narges Mohammadi’s lawyer, announced in a message on the X Twitter platform that the hearing for his client’s new case will be held on Monday, May 20th, at Branch 29 of the Tehran Revolutionary Court. He also mentioned that the charges against his client include anti-establishment propaganda.

Narges Mohammadi, a human rights activist, has previously been sentenced to a total of 12 years and 3 months in prison, 154 lashes, 4 months of travel ban, 2 years of exile, and other political and social deprivations in five different convictions by the judiciary of the Islamic Republic.

She has spent 10 years in prison over the past 14 years.
