Foolad Khuzestan Club has announced that it has agreed to the resignation request of Javad Nekounam, the head coach of the men’s football team of this club.

The club has accused Mr. Nekounam of escalating unprofessional behavior and unreasonable demands, describing this as the reason for his resignation.

The acceptance of Javad Nekounam’s resignation took place on the eve of Foolad’s match with Al Hilal of Saudi Arabia, and it has been announced that Hamid Rajabi, Mr. Nekounam’s assistant, will take on the responsibility of leading the team.
