Netanyahu: Grossi is a worthy individual who has made inappropriate remarks

Rafael Grossi, the head of the UN’s nuclear agency, stated on Saturday after concluding his visit to Tehran that any military attack on nuclear facilities is illegal.

In the weekly Israeli cabinet meeting, Netanyahu stated that Rafael Grossi is a worthy individual who has made inappropriate remarks. He said, ‘What is illegal? Is it permissible for Iran, which openly seeks our destruction, to acquire tools of mass destruction to annihilate us? Are we prohibited from defending ourselves? It is evident that we are allowed to do so.’

Earlier, the International Atomic Energy Agency had announced that it received extensive assurances from Tehran that would aid investigations into uranium particles found at undeclared sites in Iran, and that dismantled monitoring equipment would be reinstalled.

However, only a day later, Iran announced that no agreement had been reached on the addition of cameras and monitoring equipment, and no such authorization had been issued to the agency.
