Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said today during a visit to the Lebanese border that Israel is prepared for a powerful action in the north to ensure security. Hezbollah in Lebanon has stated that they are not seeking escalation but are ready to respond if imposed with a war.
Limited clashes between Israel and Hezbollah, backed by Iran, have been ongoing almost daily since the start of the Gaza war. Concerns of a full-scale war have been raised in recent months. Two nights ago, after Hezbollah missile attacks on northern Israel, significant fires broke out in those areas, adding to concerns of another war.
In the latest development, Benjamin Netanyahu, who visited the northern borders of Israel today, warned that those who think they can harm us and we will not react are mistaken.
We are prepared for a decisive action in the north to restore security by all means necessary.
