A new wave of pressure on the survivors of recent protests: Milad Saeedianjoo’s sister reports her dismissal

The sister of Milad Saeedianjoo, one of those killed on November 16 in Izeh, has tweeted that she has been fired from her job.

She, who was working as a healthcare staff, wrote that they didn’t even wait until the end of the month. In the middle of tonight’s shift, they told me to pack up my things and leave. Rest assured, these actions won’t stop me from seeking justice for my brother’s blood.

Zahra Saeedianjoo was also detained for a while in March 2023 after holding a birthday ceremony at her brother’s grave.

In late March 2023, Fatemeh Heidari, the sister of Javad Heidari, another protest victim, also reported her dismissal from work, stating that this happened despite her being recognized as an exemplary employee last year and this summer.

Additionally, Fa’ezeh Rahnavard, the sister of Majidreza Rahnavard, who was executed during the protests, was told she would not be allowed to return to her university after the Nowruz holidays.
