Niloofar Hamedi asked Farhad Meysami to end his hunger strike
Niloofar Hamedi, a detained journalist, in response to Farhad Meysami’s severe weight loss, requested in an audio message released by her husband Mohammad Hossein Ajorlou, that Farhad Meysami, a political prisoner, end his hunger strike.
In this audio file, Ms. Hamedi stated, ‘You, who have once again made your body a defensive shield for collective demands, are aware, awake, and vigilant. However, the humble request of this sister from you is to end the rightful hunger strike that has put your life in danger. May we, after the overwhelming flood of events, celebrate shoulder to shoulder at the dawn of freedom for all political prisoners from this disgraceful and renowned trap.’
