Nobakht, the former head of the Planning Organization, hopes we won’t see a 178,000-toman dollar.

Mohammad Bagher Nobakht, the former head of the Planning and Budget Organization, said that we predicted the dollar rate would reach 110,000 and then 178,000 tomans by 2025 if sanctions are not lifted.

We hope the problems will be resolved and we won’t reach these numbers.

Regarding the energy crisis and power outages, he added that living with a two-hour power cut is possible, but it’s not really living, and there is no development in it.

Nobakht said lifting sanctions will save the economy from death, but the issue is that the pains of the ailing economy must also be treated.
