The musician Baloch passed away due to inability to afford medication, according to a note in Etemad newspaper.
In a note titled ‘Strange Deaths of Baloch Icons,’ Etemad highlights the darkness and devastation that has engulfed the culture and art of Balochistan more than ever before. Recently, the last surviving famous Baloch harmonium player passed away in silence, ignorance, poverty, and without anyone noticing.
Delmorad Shoklzei, one of the last famous survivors of Baloch music harmonium players, tragically left this world a few days ago in negligence and helplessness due to the inability to pay for his medication, which cost only four hundred thousand tomans, in a poor neighborhood called Suchankan.
A few weeks ago, another famous Baloch harmonium player, Shirmohammad Balochzehi, also passed away in the same impoverished neighborhood of Suchankan, under similar circumstances of silence, ignorance, poverty, and absolute unawareness due to illness.
