Obama: The White House under Trump is a daily scene of lawlessness and madness
Former U.S. President Barack Obama sharply criticized Donald Trump’s administration in a speech.
Mr. Obama said that every day the White House presents a new set of lawlessness, carelessness, narrow-mindedness, and sheer madness to the people.
After the audience booed the U.S. President, he said, ‘Don’t boo, vote. They don’t hear the boos, but they see the votes.’
Mr. Obama, speaking in support of Democratic candidates running for governor in Virginia and New Jersey, also criticized Republicans for failing to restrain Mr. Trump.
Mr. Obama, referring to the Halloween tradition of trick-or-treating, sarcastically said, ‘Every day is Halloween for us, but it’s just tricks without the treats.’
The elections to determine the governors of New Jersey and Virginia will be held on Tuesday, November 4th.
The current governor of New Jersey is from the Democratic Party, and the governor of Virginia is from the Republican Party.
The former U.S. President rarely appears in the political arena but remains popular among Democrats.
