Oil prices hit their lowest level

Oil prices fell by nearly 3 percent, reaching their lowest level since before Russia’s attack on Ukraine. This occurred as economic data indicates concerns about a potential global recession.

International benchmark Brent crude contracts closed the nearest maturity trades down by $2.76 or 2.9 percent, reaching $92.34 per barrel. During this session, the contract fell to $91.71 per barrel, the lowest since February 18.
