Oman will convey Iran’s perspectives to the American delegation this morning.
The Omani Foreign Ministry announced that, as part of the third round of Tehran-Washington talks, it will convey Iran’s positions to the American team and then receive the views of the other side.
According to Muscat’s announcement, during last night’s meeting between Abbas Araghchi and Badr Al-Busaidi, the two sides reviewed the latest developments and went over Iran’s proposals for reaching an agreement on the nuclear issue. These proposals are based on the guiding principles agreed upon in the previous round of negotiations.
In a message on the social network X, the Omani Foreign Ministry added that Al-Busaidi emphasized the ongoing commitment of the Sultanate of Oman to support and facilitate dialogues and to play the role of a communication bridge between the two parties. This role is pursued with the aim of steering the negotiations towards acceptable and sustainable solutions regarding Iran’s nuclear program and its future path.
According to Muscat’s announcement, after conveying Tehran’s positions, the Omani Foreign Minister will also receive the views and proposals put forth by the American delegation to complete the mediation process at this stage.
