One person was killed in a shooting at a wedding ceremony in Gotvand County.

Abbas Abbasizadeh, the governor of Gotvand, stated that as a result of a shooting by an individual with a hunting weapon at a wedding ceremony in this county, a 32-year-old man has died.

Additionally, the Gotvand prosecutor’s office has said that the shooter has been arrested and the wedding hall where the crime took place has been sealed.

According to reports, in some wedding ceremonies, the tradition of shooting in the air for the bride and groom is still practiced. In recent years, the news of people being killed and injured in such ceremonies has sparked a lot of criticism.
