According to Variety’s report, during its initial screening in Japan, Tenet made $25 million in sales in 343 cinemas, ranking third in Japan’s top-grossing films. According to Universal Pictures, Tenet is the highest-grossing Hollywood film in Japan.
So far, Tenet has made over $965 million worldwide, which is a remarkable figure for a 3-hour, epic historical narrative film. The film has also won 7 Oscars.
