Opening a suspicious package at the Air Force One base made several people sick
Several people fell ill after opening a suspicious package that had been sent to the operational base of the U.S. presidential aircraft, Air Force One.
A spokesperson for Joint Base Andrews in Maryland, near Washington D.C., the capital of the United States, said the building where the suspicious package was opened has been evacuated, and medical staff have reported that the condition of those who became ill is stable.
According to the CNN news network, citing informed sources involved in the investigation of this matter, it has been reported that the package contained an unknown white powder.
This airbase is the location of the U.S. presidential aircraft and its support planes, and the President usually uses this base for his travels.
