Pakistan has stopped the transit of cargo trucks from Iran
The Wall Street Journal reported that Pakistan has halted the transit of cargo trucks through the Gabd and Taftan border crossings, citing compliance with U.S. sanctions as a reason for this decision.
According to this report, a number of drivers are stuck in long border queues, and the delay in transporting agricultural products has increased the risk of them spoiling.
Additionally, more than 4,500 tons of packaged liquefied gas have been halted on the Iranian side of the border.
