Paknejad, the Minister of Oil, has been added to the US sanctions list.

The US Treasury Department announced today, Thursday, that it has imposed new sanctions on individuals and entities connected to Iran.

The list published on the US Treasury’s website shows that the name of one individual, 18 companies, and 13 ships have been added to the blacklist known as SDN.

The sanctioned companies and ships are based in the jurisdictions of various countries, including Bangladesh, the Marshall Islands, China, and Sri Lanka.

The name of Mohsen Paknejad, the Minister of Oil of the Islamic Republic of Iran, has also been included in this sanctions list.
