Parliament member: The poisonings are retaliation for the February 11th rally

Mehrdad Weis Karmi, a member of the Parliament’s Education and Research Commission, stated that this act is mischievous and mainly targets the mental peace of society. They intend to disrupt the psychological state of families and society with these harassing actions and aim to close schools and universities, which they couldn’t shut down during the unrest, this time by involving families.

These poisonings are mostly a continuation of the same unrest and a form of retaliation against the youth, especially teenagers, who participated extensively in the grand February 11th rally.

Additionally, with the Nowruz holidays approaching, which are significant for people, they are more focused on disturbing the peace and mental state of the public. Hopefully, they will remain unsuccessful as always.
