Parliament members are not talking about the massive payments received by the national broadcaster from Mobarakeh Steel Company.
Following the publication of the investigation report by the Industries and Mines Commission of the Islamic Consultative Assembly regarding the violations of Mobarakeh Steel Company in Isfahan, which amounts to more than 92 trillion rials, the Public Relations Department of the national broadcaster issued a statement denying the accusations against it. They claimed that the payment of 221 billion and 270 million rials from Mobarakeh Steel Company to the broadcaster was mentioned. These claims, based on the final investigation report of the Industries and Mines Commission on the company’s performance, are unexamined and non-expert opinions that have caused public confusion and discredit to the national media.
The media is lying. Where is your proof?
This claim is made while there is documentation of this payment, and the broadcaster also announced two days ago that this payment was for a period of 10 years.
Furthermore, this claim is published while the broadcaster, during one year of its activities, not only uses its primary and secondary budgets but also earns significant revenue from advertisements.
Nevertheless, some parliament members have stated in their conversations that they are not interested in delving into the massive advertisement revenues of the national broadcaster, and it seems that once again, no one can challenge the extensive financial dealings of the broadcaster.
