The Parliament Speaker says organizing the currency market requires coordination between the government and parliament

Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, the Speaker of the Parliament in Iran, stated regarding today’s closed session about the currency price situation that we need serious and strong coordination between the parliament and the government to organize the currency market.

Ghalibaf said we reached good conclusions in this session, God willing, with the coordination established and the government’s actions and movements, we will overcome this problem.

In today’s closed session of the parliament, Mohammad Mokhber, the First Vice President, Ehsan Khandoozi, the Minister of Economy, and Mohammadreza Farzin, the Governor of the Central Bank, were present.

The price of each US dollar in Tehran’s unofficial currency market has exceeded 50,000 tomans.
