People who have undergone cosmetic surgery must change their identification card.
Although a person’s face can change significantly after cosmetic surgery, to the point where their new face does not match the registered image of their original face in their identification card, national ID card, and other identity documents, they must immediately replace the attached images in their identity documents.
Otherwise, their administrative and non-administrative tasks in various government and non-government organizations and centers will be suspended, and their resumption will depend on updating the image information in their documents.
The Public Relations Center of the National Registration Organization announced that individuals whose faces have undergone noticeable changes due to cosmetic and plastic surgeries need to replace the images in their identity documents if their faces do not match the image in their identity documents to prevent potential administrative issues. In this regard, the National Registration Organization emphasizes the importance of verifying the identity of individuals through fingerprinting.
