People Who Have Undergone Cosmetic Surgery Should Change Their Identification

Those who have undergone cosmetic surgery should update their identification documents.

If a person’s appearance changes one or more times after undergoing cosmetic surgery such that their new appearance does not match the image recorded on their national ID card and other identification documents, they must immediately update the attached images on their identification documents.

Otherwise, their ability to carry out administrative and non-administrative tasks in various governmental and non-governmental organizations will be halted, and resuming these tasks will depend on updating the image information on their documents.

The Public Relations Center of the National Organization for Civil Registration announced that individuals whose appearance has significantly changed due to cosmetic and plastic surgeries need to update the images on their identification documents if their appearance does not match the images on these documents, to prevent potential administrative issues. However, the organization emphasizes that the identification of individuals is primarily based on fingerprints.
