Persepolis disarmed Alireza Beiranvand
The Persepolis club fulfilled its commitment to its national team goalkeeper to prevent him from creating a market buzz like last season.
Persepolis, with the help of one of the banks present in the country’s banking consortium, which also owns a significant portion of the club’s shares, paid the entire amount of Alireza Beiranvand’s contract from last season.
The Iranian national team goalkeeper could have terminated his contract if he hadn’t received his dues by the end of June. Therefore, Reza Darvish, the club’s CEO, decided to pay him to prevent any potential new issues from Beiranvand during the summer transfer window and to remove his right to terminate the contract.
Beiranvand, like other team players, had received 76% of his dues, but now he has received the full amount of his contract and is waiting for the championship bonus with this team in the 23rd league.
