Persepolis says national team officials lack honesty
After the dispute between the doctors of Persepolis and the national team, with statements exchanged about Alireza Beiranvand’s injury, this time the Persepolis club has also accused the national team’s coaching staff of dishonesty.
Persepolis claims that upon Beiranvand’s arrival at the camp, it was determined that he was not injured, but now they are referring to an old injury, which is fundamentally incorrect. An MRI on March 23rd showed a tear in the wrist ligament, but with the decision of the national team’s medical and coaching staff, he went to Turkmenistan and participated in all training sessions.
In its statement, Persepolis emphasized that if instead of the unnecessary presence in Ashgabat, they had cast the goalkeeper’s wrist at that time, he could have been sent to the field in the coming days.
The defending Premier League champion announced that Persepolis and its fans are paying a high price due to the lack of transparency and honesty of the national team officials, and it is expected that in the future, there will be more honesty and professionalism.
