Pezeshkian at the United Nations: Europe activated the snapback mechanism under the US flag

Masoud Pezeshkian, the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, in the United Nations General Assembly, strongly criticized last week’s Security Council session and the return of sanctions, accusing three European countries of activating the snapback mechanism under the orders of the United States.

Pezeshkian said the Europeans destroyed the same JCPOA they once considered a model of diplomatic success.
