Pezeshkian in conversation with the Saudi Crown Prince: We are ready to expand relations
Masoud Pezeshkian, the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, had a telephone conversation with Prince Mohammed bin Salman, the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia, on Thursday, June 4th.
According to Mizan, Pezeshkian, while congratulating on Eid al-Adha and sincerely appreciating Saudi Arabia’s efforts in organizing the Hajj ceremonies and facilitating the rituals for pilgrims, especially for Iranian pilgrims, emphasized the Islamic Republic’s readiness to expand friendly relations.
Pezeshkian stated that the Islamic Republic is determined to take firm steps towards strengthening relations, deepening cooperation in all fields, achieving the common interests of the Islamic community, and ensuring peace, security, and prosperity for Muslim nations.
Prince Mohammed bin Salman also, during this call, congratulated on Eid al-Adha and expressed hope that this great Islamic festival would bring goodness, blessings, and prosperity to the Islamic community, especially to the two great countries of Iran and Saudi Arabia.
The Saudi Crown Prince considered Pezeshkian’s remarks about taking steps towards strengthening the relations between the two countries as important and valuable, adding that not only Iran and Saudi Arabia but all Islamic countries will benefit from this positive and forward-moving process, and we are ready to enhance interactions and develop bilateral relations with the Islamic Republic.
