The proposal to ban officials from leaving the country is on the parliament’s agenda.

Rashidi Kochi, a member of parliament, stated that the proposal to prohibit officials from leaving the country after their term ends is on this week’s parliamentary agenda.

This proposal aims to protect the assets and documents of the people and the country so that no one in a position of responsibility can easily leave the country after their term ends with illicit money obtained through embezzlement, bribery, and other means, like the Khavari case.
