Masoud Shojaei, the player I became a coach for, has become the head coach of the fan team.

Approximately two months after his selection as the head coach of the fan team, Masoud Shojaei, the former captain of the Iranian national team, was able to officially take charge of the team by obtaining the necessary coaching credentials starting today, with the issuance of his coaching license.

During this period, Mr. Shojaei, who had replaced Mahmoud Fekri after his resignation in the middle of the season, recorded one draw and one win in his record in the Premier League and managed to lead the fan team to the round of 16 in the Iranian football cup.

Masoud Shojaei, who now holds an AFC B license, has reportedly enrolled in AFC A level coaching classes. His assistants in the fan team will be Hamid Abdollahi, Mahmoud Shojaei, Mehrdad Tahmasbi, Ashpitem Arfi, Kazem Karamati (fitness coach), and Hamidreza Zaherabi (analyst).

In 2016, Shojaei was summoned due to expressing his opinions about the ban on women entering stadiums, child labor, mistreatment of Afghan migrants, and financial corruption in football. In 2017, after his presence in a match with his club Panionios against the Israeli team Maccabi, he was banned from the Iranian national football team.
