Poland claims Russia has planned aerial terrorism against airlines worldwide.
Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk announced on Wednesday, January 16, that Russia had plans for aerial terrorist acts against global airlines, targeting Poland and other countries for sabotage.
According to Reuters, security officials have stated that packages detonated in supply warehouses in Europe were part of a test for Russia’s plan to cause explosions on cargo flights to the United States.
In November, Lithuania arrested several individuals for sending incendiary devices to Western aircraft. Reports of fires linked to these devices have also emerged in Poland, Germany, and the United Kingdom.
These explosions occurred in July in warehouses in the aforementioned countries. Russia has denied any involvement in these incidents, and the Polish Prime Minister did not specifically mention these explosions.
